Over the last few months, we’ve started working with financial advisors on how they’re connecting with ESG investors. The goal is to help them connect with responsibility-minded clients. Whether it’s catching up on ESG in general or fine-tuning sales language to incorporate ESG, we’re diving in to make ESG actionable for advisors and their clients. And now, we’re looking for additional advisors to work with us — on our dime.
Look, asset managers are already out in force trying to interest their advisor partners in pitching ESG-oriented funds, and it’s easy to see why. According to Morningstar:
But it’s our contention that many asset managers aren’t giving advisors what they need to even understand these products, much less sell them.
The point of ESG investing is to make an impact. To make that happen, everyone needs to be on the same page.
Why are we offering free work? We want to learn what works best in providing tools and education to advisors when it comes to ESG products. This is new territory, and we want to develop services that advisors can build business around. In order to build that business, they’ll need to be able to connect with responsible investors, and content is a huge part of that.
